KIRKLAND – Northwest finished the regular season with a 1-0 loss to Southern Oregon Saturday.
 
The game's only score was an own goal against the Eagles in the 54
th minute.
 
"Today was always going to be difficult as we expended so much energy in Friday's game," said NU Head Coach 
Bryan Chud. "I'm so proud of the team's effort and season and want to further highlight the seniors and the role they have played in the history of this program. We'll take a few days to recover and then turn our attention toward the playoffs."
 
NU had eight shots, including two each by 
Olivia Morris, 
Stephanie Wilson, 
Callie Wright, and 
Rylee Rassier. Wright had two of the team's shots on goal.
 
Kat Sanchez had four saves.
 
Northwest honored its nine seniors before the game, including Sanchez, Wilson, Rassier, 
Lina Takada, 
Hannah Nicholson, 
Mackenzie Monten, 
AdriAnna Simmons, 
Nadine Huff, and 
Victoria Rice.
 
The Eagles will learn of their postseason seed over the weekend and await the opponent and time of their first-round Cascade Collegiate Conference contest. The first round starts Nov. 12 in Springfield, Oregon.
