Eagles Fall at Providence

GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Northwest finished off this three-game trip to Montana with an 89-68 loss at Providence Saturday.

Andie Kristinat led NU with 14 points, followed by Lexi Biggerstaff with 13 and Livi Lindsey with 11.

Maya DuChesne tallied nine in her first start and Sam Van Loo added seven points and a team-high nine rebounds.

"I was really pleased with the effort shown by the lady Eagles this afternoon," said NU Head Coach Ken Crawford. "The score does not reflect the hard work and energy that we put into the game. As we continue to develop those skills, we need to continue to improve our execution and our consistency. We're looking forward to getting home but also looking forward the continuing our progress!"

Northwest kept the score close through the first quarter but the Argos used a 10-1 run to build a 29-18 lead with 6:21 remaining in the first half.

The 1-4 Eagles return to action Dec. 3 with a trip to Oregon to play Linfield at 6 p.m.
