Jordan Travis recorded the first Northwest hat trick since 2017 and the Eagles dominated in a 5-0 victory at Pacific Union Friday afternoon.

Travis completed his hat trick in the first half, scoring all three NU goals for a 3-0 lead at intermission. The last such performance came from
Chris Iacolucci during a 7-0 win against Walla Walla Oct. 18, 2017.

Travis got his first goal with an assist from
Dylan Murphy. Dmitry Zorchenko picked up assists on the next two goals by Travis.

Noah Prophet and
Joey Starr got in on the scoring with a goal each in the second half. Starr scored with an assist from Prophet. Prophet used an assist from
Elliot Misic.

Prophet launched four shots to lead the Eagles in that category. Misic and Travis each had three shots on goal.

Alexander Thiehofe had four saves for the Eagles in collecting his first career shutout.

The Pioneers dipped to 0-3 with the loss, while the Eagles improved to 1-2. The Eagles visit Cal State Maritime on Saturday for a 6 p.m. game.
