VALLEJO, Calif. – Northwest pounded the Cal State Maritime nets for school records of 15 goals and 10 assists in a 15-0 victory Saturday.

Jordan Travis recorded his second hat trick in as many games and added an assist for seven points.
Kyle Han added two goals and four assists for eight points.

Gian Herrera,
Noah Prophet,
Elliot Misic, and
Justin Harden had two goals each, with Herrera and Hardin adding an assist apiece. Dmitry Zorchenko had a goal and two assists, and
Tyler Hopp added one goal and one assist.

Northwest launched 43 shots and put 27 of those on goal. Travis and Prophet posted eight shots each. NU's
Brandon Karberg collected saves on both Keelhauler shots on the evening.

It was NU's first double-figure score since 2014 when the Eagles blanked Multnomah 12-0. The Cascade Conference record is 16. Northwest's 10 assists came two short of the conference record of 12, which has been accomplished four times, most recently by Corban in 2017. The previous NU record for assists was nine in that same Multnomah game.

"We approached tonight's game with the attitude of playing our game and staying patient," NU Head Coach
Gary McIntosh recapped. "We did that, and I was pleased with the combination play we had. It was a successful trip. We will get back to work this week in preparation for our next game."

Herrera got the game winner in the second minute with an assist from Travis. Travis added the next two, both with assists from Han, in the 14
th and 29
th minutes for a 3-0 lead. Han scored in the 38
th minute, and Misic got his first college goal in the 39
th minute.

The Eagles scored 10 goals in the second half, getting off 23 shots in 45 minutes.

Zorchenko scored 44 seconds into the half, and Harden got a goal in the 52
nd minute. Misic got his second goal in the 60
th minute with an assist from Zorchenko.Â

Harden added his second goal in the 65
th minute with an assist from Hopp, and Hopp scored three minutes later with an assist from Zorchenko.

Prophet got back-to-back goals in the 76 and 78
th minutes. Herrera and Han had assists on the first of those, with Harden helping out on the second.

Han had the honors of delivering both the record-setting goal and the record-setting assist. He scored an unassisted goal in the 79
th minute for the record breaker and added an assist three minutes later when Travis got his hat trick score.

Herrera finished off the festivities with a goal in the 85
th minute.

Now 2-2 on the season, the Eagles return to action Sunday, Sept. 14, against Caltech in Salem, Oregon.
