Costa Rica Blog Day 5 – Hannah Michaels and Vanessa Franke: Enjoying Creation and Team Bonding
Â
Today we started the morning with a delicious breakfast at 8AM and at 9AM we marched our troop to Manuel Antonio National Park. As we traversed through the park we saw crabs in the mud and an iguana on the beach.

Â

Then, some of us headed towards the coffee stand while others went to lay out on the beach. On our way there we saw white-faced monkeys, their nickname is cappuccino monkeys because of their white foamy face and dark espresso fur, and mono titi monkeys.
Â
Then we got our refreshments and headed back to the beach for splashing in the water and bathing in the sun. Exploring the park gave all of us the chance to reflect on the complexity of God's creation. After our time at the park, we had a free day to explore the town of Manuel Antonio.
Â
Some of us went out to the beach by our hotel and went swimming, some went shopping at the local shops, and others were on the search for the perfect coffee shop.
Â
Overall, today was a great day for team bonding, and we all were able to get to know each other and our Creator throughout the day.
