HELENA, Mont. – Northwest and Carroll played to a scoreless tie Friday, despite combining for 31 shots and 16 shots on goal.

"Once again, we played well throughout most of the game, and we battled hard," said NU Head Coach
Bryan Chud. "It's a tough one to not have won, but we'll rest up and refocus for our trip next week."

The Eagles had 19 shots for the game, led by
Callie Wright with 10. Wright also had a game-high four shots on goal.

Kierstin Patefield turned away eight shots on goal by the Saints, collecting two in the first overtime period.

Now 3-5-3 on the season and 2-1-2 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, the Eagles return to action on Oct. 8 with a 2:30 p.m. contest in Salem, Oregon, against Corban.
