KIRKLAND – Northwest dropped a 3-1 decision at the hands of Warner Pacific Friday.
"I thought we played better than what the final score showed," said NU Head Coach
Gary McIntosh. "We kept making mistakes that led to goals, and that is frustrating. I thought we created some good chances to score but could not put them away. Our focus now shifts to tomorrow's game."
The Knights took the 1-0 lead in the eighth minute on a goal by Arturo Bahena and went up 2-0 just before the half on an own goal.
Mauricio Sanchez made it 3-0 in the 61
st minute.
The Eagles got on the scoreboard in the 78
th minute.

Brayden Corwin's free kick to
Jonathan Toscano, who buried the goal.
Alexander Thiehofe had three saves for the contest, including a thwarted penalty kick, diving to his right.
The Eagles had 10 shots in the game, led by Corwin with three. NU had five shots on goal. Corwin led with two, and Toscano,
Elliot Misic, and
Dmitriy Zorchenko had one apiece.
Now 7-5-2 overall and 3-4-2 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, Northwest hosts Multnomah at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
