Eagles Roll Past Multnomah

<strong>KIRKLAND</strong> – Northwest posted its third consecutive shutout with a 4-0 win over Multnomah on Saturday.<br />  <br /> Callie Wright got the game-winning goal in the 13th minute, using an assist from Colette Liston.<br />  <br /> The 1-0 score held up for the rest of the half.<br />  <br /> Grace Burke scored, getting an assist from Kayla Soderstrom, for a 2-0 lead in the 55th minute.<br />  <br /> Claire Jo Diede played home an assist from Karli Peterson for the 3-0 NU lead in the 67th minute.<br />  <br /> Anna Lau wrapped things up with a goal in the 88th minute, using a feed from McKenna Ramoso.<br />  <br /> "I'm pleased that we got the shutout and the win, and that we were able to play pretty much every eligible player," said NU Head Coach Bryan Chud. "We will enjoy the next couple of days off and look forward to improving on this performance next week."<br />  <br /> Kierstin Patefield had a quiet afternoon with a no-save shutout for the Eagles.<br />  <br /> Northwest outshot the Lions 46-1. The school record is 48 shots.<br />  <br /> Wright and Diede had eight shots each, Olivia Morris added seven, and Gracie VanAssche had four.<br />  <br /> NU put 17 shots on goal. Olivia Morris led that category with four, followed by Diede with three, Maya Lewis and Wright with two, and Burke, Peyton Manalo, Liston, Elizabeth Moretti, Lau, and Sarah Hansen with one each.<br />  <br /> The Eagles, now 6-6-3 overall and 5-2-2 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, host Evergreen State Saturday at 1 p.m.<br />
