Corban Trips Up Northwest

SALEM – Corban expanded its winning streak to four games and handed Northwest its first shutout since Sept. 1 in a 5-0 decision Friday.

The Warriors pressured the Eagles for most of the game, holding NU to seven shots and five shots on goal while launching 27 shots of their own

Today was not a good day for NU soccer," said NU Head Coach Gary McIntosh. "We lacked the quality against a good Corban team. We did not play a good game, and it is something we must change moving forward."

Five Warriors scored goals in the game, with Mark Ramdeen getting the game winner in the 10th minute.

Alex Thiehofe had six saves and was charged with four goals. David Fulga allowed one goal in 27 minutes.

Tyler Hopp put all three of his shots on goal to lead the Eagles in both categories. Brayden Corwin had the other two shots on goal.

Now 6-4-2 overall and 2-3-2 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, NU travels to Eugene for a 3 p.m. contest at Bushnell.
