"There was terrific energy in the gym tonight with each point contested at a high level," said NU Head Coach Steven Bain. "Multnomah's defense was consistently in great position, which forced our offense to play clean and keep balls in play. We challenged our ladies to match their intensity and for the most part, we were able to do that. I was especially pleased with our ability to manage the game on our side of the net, and we again demonstrated the value of having consistent focus over time. These are things that we have been working hard to improve so I am glad to see the team getting a return on their efforts."
