GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Montana State-Northern turned 13 offensive rebounds into 15 second-chance points and beat Northwest 75-54 Friday.
The Eagles had no second-chance points and battled foul trouble inside.
Northwest had four players score in double figures, led by
Connor Drinkwine with 13. He scored three three-pointers in five attempts.
Guard Rayvaugn Bolton led NU with five rebounds and turned in a dozen points.
CaCoa Chatman scored 11 points, and
Tanner Davis added 10.
Bolton led the defensive numbers with three steals.
Now 1-1, the Eagles play Providence Saturday at 6 p.m., Pacific.
