CALDWELL, Idaho – Northwest spoiled the College of Idaho's spring finale with a 2-1 win Saturday morning.

After a scoreless first half, the Yotes broke out on top with a Ben Bechor goal in the 53rd minute.

A 2-1 NU lead replaced the deficit with two Eagle goals in the 71st minute.
Benjamin Banks-Forder scored with an assist by
Elliot Misic with 18:47 left in the game.

Misic drove a goal into the net from 30 yards for the game-winner with 18:01 remaining.

"College of Idaho is always a tough place to play," said NU Head Coach
Gary McIntosh. "I'll give them a lot of credit. They were organized and did a good job with us defensively. In the first half, we just could not get anything going. We kept pushing through and playing our game, and we scored two great goals. I'm extremely pleased with the second half and how we played."

Northwest produced 10 shots in the game, led by Misic with three.
Kyle Han,
Gian Herrera, and
Noah Prophet also put shots on goal.

Brandon Karberg got the win in goal, collecting three saves.

The Eagles, now 2-0, hopped back on the bus after the win, bound for a Sunday afternoon tilt at Eastern Oregon.
