LA GRANDE, Ore. – Northwest had its two-game win streak snapped by Eastern Oregon Sunday, falling 2-0.

"We played really well today," said NU Head Coach
Gary McIntosh. "I'm pleased with the competitiveness with which we played. We controlled the game and our passing and decisions were great. We just could not find a goal today; sometimes that happens."

Both EOU goals came in the second half.

The Eagles launched 14 shots and put four on goal, getting three shots each by
Kyle Han,
Elliot Misic, and
Brayden Corwin. Misic put two shots on goal.
Leon Bormann and
Angel Trejo-Delgado also had a shot on goal each.

Alexander Thiehofe grabbed three saves in goal for NU.

Now 2-1, Northwest turns its attention to the start of Cascade Collegiate Conference action with Southern Oregon visiting Sunday and Monday.
