KIRKLAND – Northwest heads to Portland for a two-game set at Warner Pacific at 11 a.m. Sunday and 2 p.m. Monday.
 
Northwest owns an 11-3-1 record against Warner Pacific, and the Eagles have won the last two games. The Knights have scored only one goal against Coach 
Bryan Chud's Eagles. That goal came in WPU's last win in the series, 1-0, in Portland in 2017.

Kierstin Patefield carries a 0.95 goals-against average into the series, which ranks fifth in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. She also is fourth in the league with 11 saves. 
 
Northwest's defense has two shutouts and permitted four goals in four games. Teams are getting fewer than eight shots per game against the Eagles. 
 
Northwest opened league play with a 3-0 win and a scoreless tie against Southern Oregon. 
Anna Lau scored twice, and 
Callie Wright added a goal and an assist in the series.
 
Warner Pacific dropped to 1-3 overall and 0-2 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference with two losses at Oregon Tech Sunday and Monday by scores of 4-0 and 3-0. 
 
The Knights, who claimed a forfeit win against Multnomah, have yet to score a goal this season. Kaitlin Hirasa has two of WPU's three shots this season, and Sophie Painter has the lone shot on goal.
