KIRKLAND – After nearly three weeks, Northwest returns to the volleyball court Friday for a 5 p.m. contest against Seattle Pacific.

Seattle Pacific took two 3-0 matches from the Eagles on Feb. 27 after the teams had played a scrimmage on Feb. 23. The teams also played an exhibition last season, which went to five sets. These three matches this year are the only counting matches the schools, separated by just 12 miles, have ever played.

In the first match in February, Abi Broussard had 11 kills and four aces,
Courteney Carr had 22 assists, and
Susanna Bailey was in on four blocks.
Cristina Lorenz and
Hannah Michaels led the Eagles with 12 and 11 digs, respectively.
Hannah Lord led NU with eight kills, Carr added 19 assists, and Broussard accounted for four aces and four blocks. Lorenz led with 15 digs, while Michaels and
Anna Saelens added 10 apiece.Â

Hannah Hair was dominant for SPU with nine blocks in each match. Maddie Batiste led SPU with 17 kills.

Broussard leads the NAIA with 1.33 aces per game.
Tatiana Ensz ranks 11th at 0.6. The Eagles average 2.33 aces per game, which ranks eighth in the NAIA.

Megan Miller averages 2.75, Ensz 2.4, and Lord 2.17 to give NU a diverse offense.Â

Carr tops the Eagles with 6.83 assists per game. She has assisted on 41 of the Eagles' 68 kills this season. Carr is fourth in the Cascade Collegiate Conference.

Cristina Lorenz averages 4.5 digs per game, with
Hannah Michaels turning in a 3.5 average.Â

Seattle Pacific split two 3-2 matches with St. Martin's in the Falcons' only other matches this season. Hannah Hair averages 1.75 blocks per game and shares the kills lead with Maddie Batiste at 2.69.
