KIRKLAND – Northwest dipped to 0-3 after a hard-fought 3-0 loss to Seattle Pacific Friday.

SPU took the sweep, 27-25, 25-20, 25-23.

"In volleyball, you have serve and receive, offense and defense, and, from where I sat, Seattle Pacific won all of those tonight," said NU Head Coach Steve Bain. "When the game was on the line, they made the plays. The worst thing that can happen now would be if we don't learn from this. We'll get back in the gym next week and work hard. Our team has a growth mindset, and I look forward to seeing continued growth."

Hannah Lord led the Eagles with 13 kills, while Tatiana Ensz added six. 

Hannah Michaels had 10 digs.

The Eagles play an intrasquad scrimmage on March 26 and return to counting matches with a home-and-home weekend set with St. Martin's April 9-10.
