KIRKLAND – Northwest makes its final Cascade Collegiate Conference road trip Sunday and Monday with games in Eugene, Oregon, against Bushnell.

Both games begin at 5 p.m.

Southern Oregon announced Friday that the men's soccer team was on a Covid pause and canceled its last six games. That included possible make-up games with Northwest. The elimination of those games erased the final postseason possibilities for the Eagles.

Northwest has won 14 of the last 15 games in the series and has a 14-4-1 record in the series all time. Northwest scored a 2-0 win in Kirkland last season. Leon Bormann and Kyle Han had goals, with Noah Prophet and Dmitriy Zorchenko getting assists. Alexander Thiehofe had a four-save shutout.

Northwest tied Corban 1-1 and lost 2-1 in last week's series. The Eagles' defense limited Corban to its lowest two-game output this season.

Elliot Misic leads Northwest with three goals, followed by Gian Herrera and Kyle Han with two apiece. Bormann, Tyler Hopp, Benjamin Banks-Forder, Prophet, Angel Trejo-Delgado, and Justin Harden have one goal apiece.

Alexander Thiehofe and Brandon Karberg have split time in goal, each playing four games. Thiehofe leads the team with 17 saves and a 1.86 goals-against average. Karberg is at 2.57 goals per game.

The Beacons have two goals this season, one each by Esgar Avila and Kyle Aure. Aure has the team's lone assist. Bushnell is 0-8 overall and 0-6 in the CCC after 5-0 and 4-0 losses to Oregon Tech last week.
