Eagles Out-Shine Beacons

EUGENE, Ore. – Northwest got back to the positive side of the ledger with a 1-0 win over Bushnell Sunday.

Benjamin Banks-Forder broke the scoreless tie, playing in a pass from Tyler Hopp in the 79th minute.

"We got the win today, and that is what matters," said NU Head Coach Gary McIntosh. "Benji had a great finish for the winning goal. The game was sloppy at times due to the weather. We overcame bad weather and ourselves and found a way to win today."

Alexander Thiehofe picked up two saves for the shutout in goal.

The Eagles launched 21 shots and put four of those on frame. Kyle Han had four shots, while Seito Gao, Elliot Misic, and Brayden Corwin took three each. Banks-Forder, Gao, Hopp, and Dylan Murphy had the shots on goal.

Northwest finishes its series with the Beacons at 5 p.m., Monday.
