KIRKLAND – Northwest plays its first home games of the season Sunday and Monday, hosting Southern Oregon at 1 p.m. both days.

Northwest is 7-9-3 all time against Southern Oregon. SOU took the series last season with 1-0 victories in both contests, the second of which was in the Cascade Collegiate Conference playoffs.Â

Northwest is coming off of a 2-0 loss at Eastern Oregon. The last three games, including an exhibition at Seattle University, have finished in 2-0 losses.
Olivia Morris had four shots at EOU, followed by
Sarah Hommas with three.

These are the first games of the season for Southern Oregon. The Raiders were 12-6-3 last season and reached the NAIA Opening Round before bowing out with a loss at No. 1 William Carey. Baylee Touey led SOU with nine goals and 20 points in her freshman season. Jessie Selby returns after starting 10 games in goal for the Raiders in 2019.
