KIRKLAND – Seventh-ranked Corban kept its season-long win streak intact Friday with a 3-0 win over Northwest, 25-12, 25-16, 25-16.
 
"Corban is a talented team made even better by how hard they play," said NU Head Coach Steven Bain. "As a result, the box score will show that they were superior in each phase of tonight's match, and they are clearly one of the best teams we have faced this season. Even so, I know our ladies will respond with increased commitment to the standards and values that will make us successful, and we look forward to another challenge tomorrow night when we face a talented Bushnell squad."
 
Abigail Broussard led the Eagles with nine kills and two aces, with Anna Saelens getting 19 assists.
 
Saelens had five blocks on the night, with Azaria Johnson adding four and Broussard three.
 
Cristina Lorenz had 12 digs in the back row.
 
Rylee Troutman had nine kills, and Allyson Reid added seven blocks for the Warriors.
 
Now 5-8 overall and 4-4 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, the Eagles host Bushnell at 7 p.m., Saturday.
