KIRKLAND – Northwest hits the road this weekend for tough Cascade Collegiate Conference assignments at Southern Oregon Friday at 7 p.m. and Oregon Tech Saturday at 5 p.m.
Northwest is 7-29 all time against Southern Oregon. The Raiders have won the last three matches in the rivalry. NU got a 3-0 win in Ashland in 2017 for its last road victory in the series. NU has a 23-13 record against Oregon Tech, but the Eagles have not won in Klamath Falls since 2017 when they scored a sweep.

For the first time, Northwest swept the three weekly conference awards, with
Megan Horne getting Attacker of the Week,
Anna Saelens earning Setter of the Week, and
Cristina Lorenz picking up Defender of the Week.
No. 21 Southern Oregon is off to a 7-0 start after a pair of 3-0 wins over Lewis-Clark State and Walla Walla last weekend. Hailey Van Well averages 4.05 kills. Sadie Byrd gets 1.06 blocks per set. Kaydn Jones rules the back row with 4.43 digs per set.
Oregon Tech moved to 6-1 on the season after sweeping Walla Walla and beating Lewis-Clark State 3-1 last weekend. Kaylin Talonen leads the team with 3.08 kills per set, and Lindsey Sampson has 14 aces in seven matches. Kate Hicks leads the Owls with 23 blocks, and Aubrey Kievit gets 3.88 digs per set.
