KIRKLAND – Northwest shot a nice 51 percent from the field but was undone by 34 turnovers in a 72-54 loss to Southern Oregon on Sunday.

The Raiders had 22 steals, and NU had 12 unforced errors.

NU played well in the first quarter, but the Raiders used a suffocating press to build a 31-23 lead by halftime.

Grace Meza led the Eagles with 16 points, and
Livi Lindsey tacked on 12 points and added five more steals to her NU career record. After missing Saturday's game,
Sam VanLoo posted eight points and a team-high seven rebounds.
Maya DuChesne added four assists.

The Eagles drop to 10-4 overall on the season and 4-3 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. NU travels to Corban and Bushnell Friday and Saturday for its first road games of 2022.
