Northwest is seventh in the CCC and has a one-point lead on three other teams. Evergreen State is one of those teams, and a win by the Geoducks would put NU in a tough spot. The other two teams, Carroll and Multnomah, have four more opportunities to score points to NU's three.

Northwest is 6-7-2 on the season and 4-5-1 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference after falling 3-0 on Saturday at Warner Pacific.

Northwest has a 14-8 edge in the series with Evergreen State, but the Geoducks have won the last three meetings. ESC won 3-2 last season in Kirkland.
