KIRKLAND – Northwest takes on Evergreen State in the lone women's soccer game of the week at noon on Saturday in Olympia.
 
The Eagles are 17-0 in the series with Evergreen State, including a 3-2 win in Kirkland last season. Olivia Morris, Elizabeth Moretti, and Gracie VanAssche had goals in last season's win over the Geoducks. Anna Lau, Liv Lagerquist, and Morris had assists. Brieanna Dell had both Evergreen State goals.
 
The Eagles are 12-0-2 on the season and 8-0-1 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference after a 3-0 win at Warner Pacific on Saturday. Lagerquist and Kayla Soderstrom had a goal and an assist each in the win. VanAssche also had a goal.
 
Freshman goalkeeper Hanne Breur leads the NAIA and the Cascade Collegiate Conference with 10 shutouts this season. She also leads the CCC and is sixth in the NAIA in both save percentage at .920 and goals-against average at 0.29.
 
Through 14 games, Northwest has outscored opponents 39-4. Elizabeth Moretti and Gracie VanAssche lead the team with six each. Claire Jo Diede and Anna Lau have four apiece. 
 
Kayla Soderstrom leads the Eagles and the Cascade Collegiate Conference and is 11^th in the NAIA with 10 assists this season, the third-best season total in NU history behind Olivia Morris (11 in 2019) and Jaclyn Metz (11 in 2018). 
 
Evergreen State is 1-7-4 on the season and 1-5-3 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference after getting two ties in Portland last weekend. The Geoducks have a three-game unbeaten string working. Brie Dell has a team-leading six goals and 13 points. Celia Scruton has four assists.
