OLYMPIA – Northwest was dealt a tough blow on Saturday when Evergreen State rallied from two goals down for a 3-2 victory.

Elliot Misic scored with an assist from
Tyler Siedenburg in the seventh minute and
Max Herrig added a goal in the 29
th minute for a 2-0 Northwest lead.

Evergreen State's Jesus Flores got the first of his three goals on the day in the 33
rd minute.

Flores tied the game in the second half in the 54
th minute and tacked on the game-winner in the 65
th minute.

"Tough loss," said NU Head Coach Gary McIntosh. "The bottom line is, we have to make better decisions and play better."

Northwest out-shot the hosts 24-14, but each team put 10 shots on goal. NU keeper
Alexander Thiehofe had seven saves.

Jacen Stein and Misic had five shots each with Herrig getting four. Herrig and Misic had two shots on goal each while
Michael Kozorezov, Danial Amador, Stein,
Brayden Corwin,
Kyler McIntosh and
Tyler Hopp had one shot on target apiece.

The loss drops the Eagles to 6-8-2 overall and 4-6-1 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. NU finishes the regular season next weekend with a postseason berth on the line. Northwest visits the College of Idaho on Friday and Eastern Oregon on Saturday.
