KIRKLAND – Northwest embarks on its final road trip of the regular season with matches at 7 p.m. on Friday at the College of Idaho and 5 p.m. on Saturday at top-ranked Eastern Oregon.

Northwest's lone path to the postseason is two wins this weekend and some help. The teams within striking distance are Southern Oregon, Lewis-Clark State, and Bushnell. Southern Oregon has the head-to-head tiebreaker on NU. Lewis-Clark State has the top-down tiebreaker on NU. Northwest has the sets tiebreaker on Bushnell. Bushnell plays Walla Walla on Friday and Lewis-Clark State on Saturday.

The Eagles are 9-31 all time against the College of Idaho, but one of those wins came in Kirkland this season, 3-0. Northwest has won the last four matches in the series. NU is 10-26 in the series with Eastern Oregon, though the Eagles pushed the Mountaineers to five sets in Kirkland last month. EOU has won the last seven matches in the rivalry.

Abigail Broussard had 11 kills and three block assists in the three-set win over CI last month. Sydnee Steel had eight kills to lead the Yotes. Broussard had 14 kills, with
Kaitlyn Mickle and

Northwest improved to 14-14 overall and 10-10 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference with a 3-1 win over Bushnell on Saturday. Mickle and Lunday had 13 kills each, and Broussard added 12 for NU. Susana Bailey was in on five blocks, and
Anna Saelens added 47 assists.

Broussard leads the Eagles with 2.99 kills per set with 317 kills and a .338 attack percentage. She leads the Cascade Collegiate Conference in attack percentage and is third in total kills.
Karste Wright averages 2.35 kills and Mickle 2.25.Â

Kelsey Moore tops the Eagles with 576 digs and a 5.38 digs per set average.
Caitlyn James averages 2.17 digs per set. Moore leads the Cascade Collegiate Conference in both total digs and digs per set. She is 14th in the NAIA in total digs and 21st in digs per set.

Saelens leads the Eagles with 584 assists (5.51 per game), and
Morgan Harter averages 3.71 with 378 total. Saelens is fifth in the CCC in total assists.

The College of Idaho is playing out the string this weekend and comes in at 9-18 overall and 8-12 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. The Yotes had a four-match winning streak working until last weekend's road trip to Southern Oregon and Oregon Tech produced two losses. Janae Rayborn leads the Yotes with a 2.85 kills per set average. Clair Hodge averages 3.63 digs, and Chayla Slavin averages 0.94 blocks per set.

Top-ranked Eastern Oregon heads into the weekend on a seven-match win streak. The Mountaineers are 26-2 overall and 19-1 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference after sweeping Oregon Tech and Southern Oregon last weekend. Jensen leads the team with 2.80 kills per set. Scott leads the NAIA at 1.39 blocks per set, and Kara Clayton averages 1.24. Hailey Arritola leads the back row with 4.72 digs per set.
