EUGENE, Ore. – Northwest matched its regular season performance against Rocky Mountain, scoring a 1-0 win in the quarterfinals of the Cascade Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer Championships on Tuesday.

Â
"This was not an easy game to play today," said NU Interim Head Coach Gary McIntosh. "First half was a struggle for us to find our rhythm. I felt that the players off the bench gave us a huge boost. Second half we played better and scored a great goal. Our defense played great and deserved the shutout. These games will be tough, and we will learn from today's experience."
Â
The Eagles had nine shots for the game, led by
Elizabeth Moretti with four. Lau's goal was the first of two NU shots on goal for the game.
Trinity Mischel added the other in the 63rd minute.
