KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. –
Drew Bryson scored 18 points with a solid shooting night, but Northwest couldn't put the clamps on Oregon Tech in a 102-67 loss on Friday.
Bryson hit five of eight shots from the field and added seven free throws.
Meanwhile, Oregon Tech was firing on all cylinders, shooting 60 percent from the field, including 12-of-24 from three-point land.
Isaiah Williams had a respectable night with eight points and shared the Eagle rebound lead at five with
Lewis Pope and
Dewitt Bullock. Pope led with four assists, and AJ Chappell snagged two steals.
"We have a lot of work to do," said NU Head Coach Rick Skeen. "Good basketball teams expose mistakes, and credit to OIT for exposing every mistake we made tonight. We will have to learn from it and be better tomorrow."
The Eagles, now 6-4 overall and 3-1 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, travel to Southern Oregon for a 5 p.m. tip on Saturday.
