ASHLAND, Ore. –
CaCoa Chatman scored 19 points and doled out four assists in Northwest's 92-58 loss at Southern Oregon on Saturday.
Â
The Raiders shot 53 percent from the field and knocked down 11 three-pointers in their winning effort.
Â
"We ran into another buzz saw," said NU Head Coach Rick Skeen. "We played two of the top teams in the league this weekend, and we just aren't ready to compete at that level. I was really proud of how our guys competed in the second half after being down 30 at half. We will regroup and get back to work. Proud of how our guys did not quit and stuck together."
Â
Drew Bryson had 17 points and six rebounds, and
Isaiah Williams scored 11 points to go with three steals.
Â
Now 6-5 overall and 3-2 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, Northwest takes a break for Christmas and resumes league play Dec. 30-31, hosting Corban and Bushnell.
