KIRKLAND – Thirteenth-ranked Lewis-Clark State set the tone early and came away with a 93-28 win at Northwest on Friday.

The Warriors ran out to a 13-1 lead to start the game and began the second quarter on a 10-0 run. LCSC led 45-12 at the half.

"That's not what we expected, and we're disappointed in ourselves and the outcome," said NU Head Coach
Ken Crawford. "Lessons to be learned. We're better than we were, but not as good as we will be."

NU got seven points from
Katie Fleming and six rebounds from
Maria Arroyo Sanchez.

Callie Stevens led the Warriors with 32 points, with Hannah Broyles tacking on 14. Sara Muehlhausen added 10 rebounds.

The Eagles, now 2-3 overall and 0-1 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, take on Walla Walla here on Saturday at 7 p.m.
