KIRKLAND – Northwest continues its track and field tour this weekend with a stop in Ellensburg for the CWU Wildcat Invitational.

Northwest is taking nine women to compete in 11 events on Saturday.
Felicia Franco is registered in the shot put, discus, and hammer throw, with
Gretchen Stottlemyre in the javelin. On the track, NU has Lizzy Behnke in the 100 and 200 meters,
Samantha Goedde,
Olivia Sine, and
Anna Swedin in the 3000 meters,
Ellie Calquhoun and Sine in the 3000-meter steeplechase,
Anya Bohuta and
Grace Gerardi in the 800 meters, Gerardi and Goedde in the 1500 meters, and Behnke, Calquhoun, Bohuta, and Gerardi in the 4x400 relay.

Eight Eagles are logged in for eight events on Saturday.

Jack Kopatich,
Micah Murphy, and
Noah Phillips are in the 800 meters.
Craig Lambert joins Kopatich and Murphy in the 1500. Baisden also is entered in the 100 meters. Lambert and
Michael Ha are registered for the 300 meters, with Ha doubling in the 3000-meter steeplechase.
Corban Phillips is in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles.
Noah Phillips,
Corban Phillips, Murphy, Kopatich, and Baisden are listed for the 4x400 relay. Kasey Koehn throws the javelin.

Northwest captured six top 10 finishes, including an event victory at the Cal State-Los Angeles Twilight Open last week.
Noah Phillips won the 3000-meter steeplechase in 10:20.24. The NU women produced three top 10 finishes in the 800 meters, led by
Ellie Calquhoun in fourth at 2:26.37.
Grace Gerardi placed eighth at 2:29.24, with
Anya Bohuta at her side in ninth at 2:29.37.
Samantha Goedde placed sixth in the 5000 meters at 19:00.01, with
Anna Swedin in ninth at 19:06.54.
