KIRKLAND – Northwest volleyball added Ridgefield High School star Morgan Harter to the 2022 roster.
Â
Harter, a 5-10 setter, earned first-team All-State honors last season and helped the team to back-to-back state championships in 2018 and 2019.
Â
"Identifying a setter with the court savvy and experience to compete for a starting role was a top priority for 2022," said NU Head Coach Steven Bain. "Among the many talented prospects we evaluated, Morgan Harter was top ranked, and we are elated that Morgan will pursue her academic and athletic careers at Northwest! Morgan comes from elite high school and club programs and has consistently demonstrated the desire and willingness to train and compete at a high level. Combining this track record of success with her strong technical foundation will enable Morgan to quickly transition to the college game. Importantly, Morgan has experience directing both 5-1 and 6-2 offensive systems, and she can also score points with her defense and serve. Finally, having witnessed first hand Morgan's leadership ability and composure in stressful situations, I am supremely confident that she has the mental and emotional skill sets to grow and thrive in our program."

The daughter of Mike and Mindy Harter, Morgan has volunteered with Clark County Food Bank.
