KIRKLAND – Northwest heads east this weekend to play Cascade Collegiate Conference matches at Walla Walla Friday at 2 p.m. and Lewis-Clark State Saturday at 5 p.m. 
 
The Eagles are 16-0 all time against Walla Walla. NU has never lost a Cascade Collegiate Conference set to the Wolves, going 36-0 in sets. Northwest is 3-8 all time against Lewis-Clark State. The Warriors won both matches last season by 3-2 counts.
 
Abigail Broussard had 10 kills, six aces, and two blocks in the Eagles' 3-0 win over Walla Walla in the last meeting. Anna Saelens had 33 assists. Jocelyn Curiel-Ruiz led WWU with four kills. In their last match with LCSC, Susana Bailey had 23 kills, Broussard had 17 kills and seven blocks, and Anna Saelens added 50 assists. Grecia Ung Enriquez had 20 kills for the Warriors.
 
Northwest will try to rebound from a three-loss homestand last week, including a 3-1 loss at the hands of Southern Oregon on Saturday. Northwest dropped under .500 with the loss to 6-7 overall and 2-3 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference.
 
Broussard leads the Eagles with 2.98 kills per set with 152 kills and a .326 attack percentage. Broussard leads the Cascade Collegiate Conference in total kills and is second in attack percentage.
 
Kelsey Moore tops the Eagles with 304 digs and a 5.85 digs per set average. Caitlyn James averages 2.04 digs per set. Moore leads the Cascade Collegiate Conference in both total and average digs.
 
Northwest has found 104 points this season via aces. Abigail Broussard leads the Eagles with 22, followed by Reece Denney with 20, Kelsey Moore with 19, and Allie Flynn with 18. Within the Cascade Collegiate Conference, Broussard is second, Denney is third, Moore is tied for fourth, and Flynn is sixth.
 
Walla Walla is 0-5 on the season overall in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. They have been swept in the last four matches and have lost 14 consecutive sets. Gabrielle Browning leads the team with 3.08 kills, with Sahara Browning right behind her at 2.85.
 
Lewis-Clark State uses a three-pronged attack, led by Grecia Ung Enriquez with 110 kills. Cassidy Nelson has 23 aces this season and leads the league with 0.64 aces per set. Jada Wyms is fifth in the Cascade Collegiate Conference with .97 blocks per game. The Warriors are 7-3 overall and 3-2 in the CCC after taking down College of Idaho in four sets on Saturday.
