KIRKLAND – After a brief couple of games at home, Northwest is back on the road this weekend with two games in Montana. The Eagles play Rocky Mountain in Billings on Friday and Providence in Great Falls on Saturday in a pair of games that begin at 2:30 p.m. Pacific time.
 
Northwest is 3-3-1 on the season and 1-1 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference after a 2-0 loss to Oregon Tech on Saturday. The Eagles had a 1-0 win against Southern Oregon on Friday, getting a goal from Tyler Hopp. 
 
Northwest has a 1-5-1 record against Rocky Mountain but hasn't lost to the Bears since 2018. The Eagles are 4-4 all time against Providence, including a double-overtime win last season in Kirkland.
 
Elliot Misic scored for the Eagles, and Milo Downey tied things up for Rocky Mountain when the teams played to a 1-1 draw last year in Kirkland. Alexander Theihofe had 14 saves in that game. Misic got the golden goal in the 101st minute last season against Providence.
 
The Eagles have seven goals by five different scorers this season, led by Tyler Hopp with three. Max Herrig, Frederik Marten, Noah Prophet, and Jacen Stein have one apiece. 
 
Seven Eagles have assists this season. Jacen Stein, Brayden Corwin, Max Herrig, Kyler McIntosh, Elliot Misic, Daniel Stanczak, and Freddy Marten have one each.
 
Northwest has allowed 10 goals in seven games for a 1.43 goals allowed average. Michael Kot leads three NU goalkeepers with a 1.06 goals-allowed average. Alexander Thiehofe and Kot have one shutout apiece, while David Fulga and Thiehofe have combined for another.
 
Rocky Mountain rolls into the contest Friday at 3-1-1 after getting a 4-1 win over Providence at home on Saturday. Igor Soares leads the Bears with four goals and 10 points. Stefan Schenk allows one goal per game and has 13 saves over five games. Schenk is fifth in the Cascade Collegiate Conference in goals-against average.
 
Providence is 0-2 overall and 0-1 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference after losing 4-1 to Rocky Mountain on Saturday. Gavin Bissell and Jesus Pulido have one goal each to lead the Argos. Dante Montgomery has a 3.02 goals-against average.
