KIRKLAND – Northwest wraps up the first half of the Cascade Collegiate Conference schedule this weekend with top-ranked Eastern Oregon and College of Idaho visiting for 7 p.m. contests on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

Northwest dipped below .500 at 8-9 overall and 4-5 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference after playing No. 6 Corban on the road.
Delaney Sparks had 10 kills to pace the Eagles.

Abigail Broussard leads the Eagles with 2.92 kills per set with 193 kills and a .340 attack percentage. She is second in total kills and attack percentage in the Cascade Collegiate Conference.
Karste Wright has come on strong and now averages 2.34 kills.Â

Kelsey Moore tops the Eagles with 376 digs and a 5.61 digs per set average.
Caitlyn James averages 2.03 digs per set. Moore leads the Cascade Collegiate Conference in both total digs and digs per set. She is seventh in the NAIA in total digs and 15th in digs per set.

Anna Saelens leads the Eagles with 361 assists (5.47 per game), and
Morgan Harter averages 3.72 with her 218 total. Saelens is fourth in the CCC in total assists.

Northwest has had success at the service line, getting 137 aces in 17 matches and averaging 2.04 per set.
Kelsey Moore leads the way with 29, followed by
Abigail Broussard with 27, Reece Deeney and
Allie Flynn with 22 apiece, and
Caitlyn James with 20. All five are in the Cascade Collegiate Conference top 10.Â

The Eagles trail Eastern Oregon in their rivalry, 25-10. The Mountaineers have a six-match win streak in the series. EOU swept the series last season, including a 3-0 win in Kirkland.Â

Eastern Oregon rolls in on a 16-match winning streak. The Mounties are 16-1 overall and 9-0 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference after sweeping Oregon Tech at home on Saturday. Four regular EOU players average more than two kills per set, led by Cambree Scott at 2.13. Alexis McMurtrey has 25 aces. Hailey Arritola leads the team with 4.82 digs. Scott averages 1.29 blocks, with Kara Clayton checking in at 1.25. They are first and third, respectively, in the CCC in blocks per set.

The College of Idaho enjoys a 31-8 lead in the series with NU, but the Eagles won both matches last season.

The College of Idaho is 5-11 overall and 4-5 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference after picking up a forfeit over Southern Oregon. CI had given up two matches to illness the previous week. Janae Rayborn leads the Yotes with 3.08 kills per set. Clair Hodge tops the Yotes with 3.88 digs per set, and Chayla Slavin patrols the front-line defense, averaging .90 blocks per set. Analise Hitchcock is third in the CCC with 7.2 assists per game.
