NU Drops Close Game at LCSC

LEWISTON, Idaho – Lewis-Clark State held Northwest to two points in the closing minutes of the game to take a 76-70 win on Saturday.

NU's Isaiah Williams delivered a 68-65 lead with two free throws at the 3:10 mark of the game, but the Eagles went 1-of-6 from the field from there.

"We had the lead with 2 minutes to go," said NU Head Coach Rick Skeen. "They made the plays and we didn't.  We are still learning how to finish games.  Really proud of the effort and fight the guys showed tonight."

Pope led the Eagles with 19 points and seven rebounds with CaCoa Chatman adding 16 points.

Northwest returns to action on Friday, playing at Bushnell.
