KIRKLAND, WA - The Northwest University men's soccer team remains scoreless for the weekend, drawing at 0-0 against Multnomah University this afternoon.
The men have ended their last three matches in draws. Two shots on goal for the Eagles today was not enough to find the back of the net. Jacen Stein and Tyler Hopp each had one.
Each of the Lions 11 shots on goal were saved by NU goalkeeper, Alexander Thiehofe. He ends the weekend with 17 total saves.
Head Coach Gary McIntosh says, "Today was not our best day but you are always glad to get a point from the tie. Our defense again today was solid and did a great job limiting their chances. Alex had another great game in goal coming up with some big saves. We continue to learn and get better each day. Looking forward to the games next week in Oregon."
The Eagles will compete in their first road conference game next weekend, October 6, versus Corban University.Â
