POCATELLO, ID - Northwest faced a fierce Bengals team to start its Idaho pre-season trip.
Idaho State got out to a 7-0 lead and did not look back. The Eagles kept fighting against a quick and dynamic team that continued its lead throughout the game.
"I am very proud of our effort tonight," said Head Coach Rick Skeen. "Our guys played physical against a very good basketball team. We have a lot of positives to build on from tonight."
Milton Burnett led the Eagles with 12 points, with Luke Howard and Manuel Zapater tacking on 11 and 10 each.
Northwest continues its Idaho trip at the Domino's Classic at the College of Idaho where they will take on the University of Antelope Valley on Friday and Vanguard University on Saturday.
