A slow first half plagued the Eagles as the Lions crept away and were leading by 19 at the half. Northwest regained some momentum in the second half but could not make up the deficit. 

Milton Burnett led the Eagles with 16 points.

"We gave another great effort tonight," said NU Head Coach Rick Skeen. "We are struggling with getting great shots on the offensive end. If we can put the defense effort and offensive execution together, we have the potential to be a really good basketball team."
