GREAT FALLS, MT - Northwest closed out its roadtrip with a 52-81 loss to the Argos.
The Eagles knew they would face tough competition coming into the game with Providence ranked number 24 in the nation. Providence went on a 14-1 run to close out the first quarter, which left Northwest to climb out of a a hefty hole.
"Another learning experience for the lady Eagles," said NU Head Coach
Ken Crawford. "Some improvement from last night and definitely some things that we will work on this upcoming week. We're playing tough opponents because we know it will pay off as the season goes along. We're looking forward to seeing everyone next weekend for the Northwest Classic."
Maya DuChesne led the Eagles with 12 points, while
Kyrin Baklund followed close behind with 10.
Alli VanKooten brought home eight blocks and six steals.
Northwest heads home to host the Northwest Classic and will face Rocky Mountain College at 6 p.m. on Nov. 10 and The Master's University at 12 p.m. on Nov. 11.
