KIRKLAND –
CaCoa Chatman scored 20 points behind five three-pointers, but Northwest fell to Southern Oregon, 84-62, Friday night.
Chatman hit five of 11 three-point attempts and was the lone Eagle to reach double figures in scoring. He and
Lewis Pope shared the NU lead in rebounding, each with six.
Atmar Mundu led the Raiders with 18 points, and Josh Meyer turned in a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Will Grave and Tez Allen added 13 points each, and Brett Hollins contributed 10.
"We didn't make enough shots tonight," said NU Head Coach Rick Skeen. "Credit to Southern for their defense."
The Eagles return to action on Saturday, hosting Oregon Tech at 5 p.m.
