BELLEVUE – Northwest dropped both games on Saturday as No. 12 College of Idaho finished off the sweep of the series, 5-3 and 12-0.

"We played them so well for three games," said NU Head Coach Pam Fink. "I'm really proud of how we played in those games. We came out and competed over the weekend. These games help us get better."

The Yotes broke up a scoreless tie in the fourth inning, highlighted by and RBI single by Kaylee McDannald.

The Eagles got within 4-3 in the fifth on a two-run single by NAIA RBI leader
Sydney Maurer and an RBI double by
Paige Creasey.

Lexi Navarette gave CI its final margin with an RBI triple in the seventh.

The Eagles had nine hits in the opener, led by
Kayla Stanley with three and
Abby Blahut with two.
Jamelah Lewis and
Bella King added singles. McDannal had three hits for the Yotes.

CI scored 10 runs on eight hits in the first inning of the finale with Hattie Hruza getting a two-run triple and a two-run double in the inning.

The NU offense was limited to singles by Creasey and
Chloe Van Boekhout.

Hannah McNerney (9-1) went the distance for the shutout for the Yotes.

The Eagles, 13-10 overall and 6-5 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, travel to Carroll for doubleheaders at 11 a.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. on Saturday, Pacific.
