HELENA, Mont. – Northwest picked up win No. 700 for Head Coach Pam Fink in a split at Carroll College on Saturday, winning 5-0 and losing 3-1.

"I'm glad we got that win," said Fink of the conference victory. "I'm thankful for all the players that made that milestone happen. They have been an encouragement to me. I'm also grateful that it was this team that put me over the top. They work hard and I love them. I'm also thankful for having great assistant coaches, including Sam (Parisio) all these years at NU as a player and now an assistant, and, of course, I'm thankful for my family and the sacrifices they've made."

Natalie Dimitrov struck out six batters and successfully fielded nine come-backers in getting her third shutout of the season.

The Eagles broke a scoreless tie in the fourth inning on an RBI single by
Jamelah Lewis.

Bella King led off the fifth with a home run for a 2-0 lead.

Madisyn Leffle added an RBI triple and scored on a two-run home run by
Sydney Maurer in the seventh for the final margin.

The Eagles had 10 hits in the game, led by Lewis and King with two each.

NU had just one hit in the second game – a single by King.

th win in 1998, her 200
th in 2001, her 300
th in 2005, her 400
th in 2009, her 500
th in 2013 and her 600
th in 2016 all at Oklahoma Baptist. She has been the all-time coaching wins leader at every stop in her coaching career (Sumter County High School in Georgia, Oklahoma Baptist and Northwest).
