LA GRANDE, Ore. – Northwest struggled against No. 25 Eastern Oregon on Friday, managing one hit in each game in an 11-0, 2-0 sweep for the Mounties.

Paige Creasey had a bunt single in the first game and
Kayla Stanley singled into left field in the second game.

Natalie Dimitrov held EOU to two runs while striking out seven in the second game.

Lefty Kaylie Hoskins went the distance in both games for EOU, picking up 23 strikeouts in the doubleheader.

"I am extremely proud of our response after the first game," said NU Head Coach Pam Fink. "We pitched well and played good defense. We obviously couldn't figure out their pitcher. We will be better tomorrow."
