Game Recap: Men's Soccer | | Maya DuChesne

Yotes Blank Eagles: 0-4

KIRKLAND, WA - A combination of the Kirkland weather and level of competition made for a heated game between Northwest University and The College of Idaho men's soccer teams. Though the fight was evident coming from both sides, the Yotes finished on top, 4-0.

The College of Idaho goals were scored 28 minutes and 33 minutes into the first half. Second half goals were scored in the 67th minute and in the 85th minute on a penalty kick.

The Eagles had five shots on goal coming from Jacob Moon, Jacen Stein, Corbin Herrera, Matthew Ludlow, and Andre Santos.

The College of Idaho had 11 shots on goal, three saved by Alexander Thiehofe and four saved by Michael Kot.

Head Coach Gary McIntosh says, "Today was not our day. We did not play well and struggled in areas of the game that you cannot against a good team.  We did have some good moments and we probably should have scored but on days like this, nothing is easy, everything feels so hard.  We will learn from this loss and take a step forward as we prepare for the next game."

Next up, the Eagles host The Evergreen State college for a one match weekend on September 22 at 12:30 pm.
