Eagles fall to Yotes: 0-4

KIRKLAND, WA - A tough day for the Northwest University women's soccer team resulted in a 0-4 loss to The College of Idaho.

The difference in the game today was The College of Idaho's 16 shots on goal to NU's one.

Liv Lagerquist led the back line with a handful of blocks and defensive saves. Starting goalkeeper, Ella Wilson, collected 12 saves.

Head Coach April VanAssche says, "Today was a rough game for us. I know we will use it as fuel going forward though! The College of Idaho was a very tough opponent that helped us see different parts of our game that we can continue to build and work on. Our team put in the work against a strong team and we look forward to getting back out there this week and putting in the work to keep getting stronger as a team."

The women return to the pitch on September 22, to take on The Evergreen State Geoducks at 3 pm in Kirkland, WA.
