Second Time Attacker of the Week and 1,000 Career Digs

KIRKLAND, WA - Two familiar Northwest University women's volleyball names have earned accolades this past weekend, being titled CCC Attacker of the Week and surpassing a statistical milestone.

Kaitlyn Mickle has earned CCC Attacker of the Week for the second time this season. Mickle led the Eagles in a 3-2 win over No. 1- ranked Eastern Oregon, with 21 kills on nine errors. The following night, Mickle led with 20 kills on nine errors in a tight, five-set loss to The College of Idaho.

Kelsey Moore continues to lead defensively for the Eagles. Her 46-dig weekend surpassed 1,000 career digs for Moore. 

The women's volleyball team now stands sixth in conference standings with a 4-3 league record. The Eagles will travel to Portland, OR, this weekend to face Warner Pacific on September 22, followed by Multnomah University on September 23.
