CALDWELL, ID - Following a long road trip, the Eagles had another close game that came down to the fourth quarter. After three quarters of back-and-forth scoring, the Yotes were able to pull away at the end and take the win, 71-62.
From the start, the Eagles and Yotes traded points, proving that this would be a close contest all night. After being outscored in the first quarter, Northwest came out and was able to pressure the Yotes. In another tight quarter, the Eagles tied the game going into halftime.
While Northwest was able to come out of halftime and score, the College of Idaho was able to take the lead halfway in the third quarter. The Eagles trailed by two going into the final ten minutes of action. Despite the Eagles keeping the Yotes within single-digit distance, Northwest was unable to retake the lead.

Kylie Lunday brought home another double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Northwest saw two other players in double digits with
Alli VanKooten scoring 13 and
Kyrin Baklund landing 12.
The Eagles face Eastern Oregon tomorrow at 3 p.m.
