Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Eagles Top Beacons

KIRKLAND, WA - In women's soccer, Bushnell scored first in the 18th minute, taking the lead 1-0. The game was mostly controlled by NU, having outshot the Beacons 16-7. The Eagles found the tying goal in the 40th minute unassisted by Talia Hurst. Going into half, both teams were tied 1-1.

NU came out in the second half taking the majority of possessions and outshooting Bushnell 9-4. NU scored a second goal in the final minutes when Laura Rice hit a screamer of a shot to win the game, 2-1.  

Katie Snow had 4 saves in the game.

Coach April had to say this about the game: "Super excited for the team to get the win today. We played well, and the two goals were absolutely beautiful. Everyone played with heart, and it felt good to play hard and win on our home field."
