LEWISTON, ID - Northwest bounced back and claimed victory over the LC State Warriors in five.
The Eagles started strong and were able to just edge out the Warriors to take the first set. Starting the second, they found good momentum and were able to take a 2-0 lead in the match.
The Warriors fought back and surprised the Eagles as they quickly took hold of the third set. Soon after, NU found the match tied at 2-2 and headed to a fifth set.
The final set started out back-and-forth as both teams were determined to get the win. The Eagles went on a 5-0 run to give them a 11-5 lead, which helped propel them to the finish line.
Kaitlyn Mickle, Aubree Dees, and Delaney Sparks all claimed 14 kills. Morgan Harter had 39 assists, and Allie Flynn comes home with 23 digs.
